Sir David Suchet wears our Bespoke in new series

We are honoured to share that the legendary Sir David Suchet wears one of our bespoke suits in his new television documentary, Travels with Agatha. Best known for his iconic portrayal of Hercule Poirot, Sir David brings his signature elegance and thoughtful presence to this journey through the life and landscapes that inspired Agatha Christie—and we’re proud to have contributed to his look for the series.
For this project, we selected a Chesnut solid fabric from Holland & Sherry’s renowned Crispaire bunch. Woven from 100% Super 120s worsted wool, Crispaire is designed for comfort and structure in warmer climates. Its open weave and crisp handle allow for breathability and resilience, making it the perfect choice for the documentary’s sun-drenched filming locations across the Mediterranean and Middle East.

The Chestnut tone offered a rich, classic palette that complemented Sir David’s timeless style while allowing the texture and tailoring to take centre stage on screen. As we watched the suit come to life on location, we couldn’t help but smile at the fitting coincidence—Agatha Christie’s early adventure novel The Man in the Brown Suit provided a playful and apt echo to our fabric choice. The result is a suit that travels beautifully—both in terms of performance and presence, and with just the right touch of literary charm.
We’re proud to see our craftsmanship accompany Sir David on such a meaningful and visually stunning journey, and to have our work tied, in a small way, to the enduring legacy of Agatha Christie.
